Letter from the President 

September, 2009

Dear Colleague:

The Brooklyn Pediatric Society is BACK!

We had an extraordinary year for 2008/2009.  We will have an even better year for 2009/2010.

But we need  Y O U  -  to join the Society, to send in your dues, and to come to our meetings!

We have an exciting schedule of topics for the season – addressing a range of clinical, political and practical issues that are of critical concern to all of us as pediatricians and to our ability to have successful practices here in Brooklyn.  The proverbial question – what has the BPS done that makes a difference in my practice – is something we will try to answer this year, not just with excellent speakers on timely topics such as immunization minefields and health care reform, but also with a down-to-earth practical plan for something vital to us all – negotiating contracts with insurance providers.
